Social Value Statement

Who We Are

askKira is an AI-powered assistant created specifically for the education sector. Designed with safeguarding, compliance and impact at its core, askKira is used by schools, trusts and educators to reduce administrative workload, support school improvement, and enable data-informed decision-making. We are proud to be UK-founded, UK-hosted, and fully aligned with the legal, ethical and educational priorities of British schools.

Our Values

Pupil-Centred
We believe that every technology used in schools should benefit children and young people directly or indirectly. Kira exists to support teachers and staff so they can focus on what matters most: their students.

Trustworthy by Design
We place privacy, security and transparency at the heart of all we do. We are compliant with UK GDPR, maintain UK-based data hosting and access controls, and never sell or misuse data. Kira is designed to be a trustworthy partner for schools.

Empowering, Not Replacing
Kira is not here to replace staff or decision-making, but to enhance it. We believe in human-led education, with AI playing a supportive role that improves efficiency, reduces stress and enables better focus.

Community-Grounded
Our work is shaped by feedback from real school leaders, administrators and MATs. We listen, adapt and iterate in collaboration with the communities we serve.

Ethically Driven
We adopt responsible AI practices, do not use black-box models in high-risk contexts, and retain human oversight in all key workflows. Our models are continually reviewed for bias, fairness and explainability.
